We are a Certified B Corp
What B Corp Means
Certified B Corporations™ meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. The certification is awarded by B Lab, a nonprofit network transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
For Olivia Garden, becoming a B Corp is a way to reaffirm what we’ve always believed: great tools come with great responsibility.
It’s a standard
A rigorous, independent framework for evaluating our social and environmental impact.
It’s a signal
Proof that we walk the talk when it comes to ethics, sustainability, and responsibility.
It’s a commitment
To improve, evolve, and hold ourselves accountable across every part of the business.
It’s a community
Thousands of companies around the world, working together to change the system.
It’s a journey
One that challenges us to keep raising the bar — for people, planet, and professionals.
We believe in doing things right
From day one, Olivia Garden has been about empowering professionals — with tools they trust, quality that lasts, and a community that supports them.
Becoming a B Corp felt like the natural next step: a way to reflect on our journey, recognize the collective effort behind it, and challenge ourselves to keep doing better. Every department, every colleague, every detail mattered. This milestone belongs to all of us — and it strengthens our promise to hairdressers and to the planet we share.
“This journey was long, detailed, and at times challenging – but deeply rewarding.
Every department, every colleague, every small change played a role in helping us get here. This certification belongs to all of us.”
— Marie-Hélène, Lead Vendor and Operations Management
Our B Corp journey is only the beginning
Getting certified was a milestone — but not the destination. We’re committed to moving forward, setting new goals, and staying accountable.
Here’s where we’re headed:
- Shift to 100% recyclable or compostable packaging by 2026
- Stay active in the B Corp community and use the label to inspire change
- Use the updated B Corp standards to guide progress across all impact areas
- Collaborate openly with peers and competitors to drive industry-wide sustainability
- Set quarterly team goals based on B Corp pillars (e.g. more recycled materials, local sourcing, …)
- Build joint sustainability roadmaps with factories and suppliers
- Use tools like lifecycle assessments to track and reduce product impact — starting with the Fingerbrush
- Support campaigns that push for stronger sustainability policies and incentives
